Someecards

I get too much email. I would be a happy girl if every time I checked my inbox the only thing there were someecards from my friends. They crack me up (my friends and the cards). I will do just fine without emails about Obamacare, and tax increases, and attending meetings, and the latest sale at Banana Republic.

Why am I starting (yet another) blog?

Ever since the days of xanga I have enjoyed blogging as a means of sharing thoughts with my friends. Two people I know recently started "happiness blogs" which were a collection of things that make them smile. I like this. So im copying their idea.

My first post is dedicated to the original list of things that make a person happy-- "My favorite things" sung by Maria (Julie Andrews) in the Sound of Music.
